Midwest Insurance Agency, Inc. is a family run insurance agency representing De Smet Farm Mutual Insurance Company of South Dakota and Progressive Northern Insurance Company, which was originally run by the late Dan Devine’s late father, Jim Devine. The business was run out of the home of James and Maxine Devine which later Daniel and wife Jeanne Devine purchased the business from. With plenty of hard work and much determination, the business expanded immensely and Dan and Jeanne then moved the business from their home to downtown Yankton, SD. Now, Travis Devine, son of Dan and Jeanne Devine, and his wife Whitney Devine have become third generation owners of the Devine Family Business. Midwest Insurance Agency, Inc. is now located at 3016 Piper Street in Yankton.
